We managed to snag the LAST ticket to hear Margaret Atwood's (fabulous) Keynote Speech at Snape Maltings and decided to try and get our eldest across country in time to use it - which after all sorts of transport shennanigans she did - with one minute to spare. Plus I got in on a returned ticket! I also lucked out with meeting an artist visiting from Iowa while I waited - who gave me this beautiful piece of work, with an undecipherable signature... Do drop me a line if you are reading this Cheryl!
