Late Sun

Escaping paperwork and taxes. Singularly lovely sun&shadows on a favourite Victorian gravestone in Dennington churchyard.

'I think that I will never See...

Posted by cmgaylard on October 23, 2018 at 3:30 PM

.. a poem lovely as a tree' is a bit of doggerel that presents itself whenever I see an awe-inspiring tree. I share the sentiment even if I'd rather it didn't, conkers are similar.

Unveiling

The wraps are off the Fitzwilliam and mighty fine it is too - unless you are all about 'Truth to Materiels' - I'm aesthetically flexible.

Colour Magic

Posted by cmgaylard on September 11, 2018 at 11:30 AM

This shop window made me think of the lovely old Ladybird book of 'The Elves and The Shoemaker'. What sorcery would you need to wear the lightest shades and keep them clean for even a day? Noe in Haarlem.
