I've spent five of the last six days involved in set-up for the SCS Annual Summer Exhibition. A huge enterprise that involves assemblage of a distinctive 'set' designed specially for SCS use of the gallery followed by receipt of the latest work from most of our members. Yesterday involved handling incredibly fine silver and gold jewellery - and then slapping fresh paint on the weathered and erratic gallery exterior. Four days to go before opening. The view from the top of the stairs.
