Hearts & Bones Marginalia glass rings: a cycle of love, loss and new life sculpted entirely in the flame. The medieval marginalia I’m looking at resonates with the imagery of tarot cards and the current prevalence of tiny, icon-like tattoos - tattoos also serving as memorials. Marginalia having connotations of being ‘marginalised’ and on the periphery, while teeming with tiny archetypes and small ciphers - if we look closely. My rings have been described as travelling art, these rings are in the realm of travelling shrines. The little ‘me quare’ jotted at at the base of a page of the ‘Tres Riches Heures’ translates as: why me? Find bookings for my Zoom Masterclass on the Art for Cure website
